The center of Naples
Here is a list of some monuments and the most representative places of Naples:
â€¢ The San Gennaro Cathedral and many churches of time downtown (see: Church of Jesus Chiesta del GesÃ¹).
â€¢ The huge and suggestive Piazza Plebiscito with its large semicircular arched, the royal palace and the opening towards the sea.
â€¢ The Royal Palace (with the biggest marble staircase in the world and beautiful salons) and its museum.
â€¢ The Gallery Umberto I (Galleria Umberto I) and the Teatro San Carlo, a beautiful antique theater.
â€¢ The convent of Santa Clara (Chiostro di Santa Chiara) with its ceramic interior .
â€¢ The Castle of the Egg (Castel dell'Ovo), on the shore, which could hold up to 10,000 people, with an excellent view of the city. Many restaurants and bars all around the peninsula.

â€¢ Spaccanapoli: The oldest area in the center of the city, the layout of its streets follow the Roman town plan. You will find beautiful churches, narrow and typical streets, full of shops and crafts, and delicious pizza.
A multitude of beautiful sites on the outskirts of Naples
Pompeii is a must visit in Campania. Very well served by public transport, Pompeii is visited in several hours,Â many people spend there a full day. You have to document a little before such a visit or request the services of a guide on site, which will show you the remains banned in individual public.
Herculaneum is the other archaeological remains of the Naples area. The difference with Pompeii? In Herculaneum you can see more houses still standing, with their floors, roofs, their courtyards. In Pompeii, the roofs are more collapsed, but the city is more diverse and there are more numerous artistic remains.
The Amalfi Coast is a jagged mountainous coast. From the road that winds ledge, you discover exceptional views of the Mediterranean or on the towns and villages clinging to mountain flanks. Many small towns dot the course. To make by car, often stopping to admire the landscape and visit the crossed cities.

Well connected by boat from Naples or Sorrento, Capri is a small rocky island which carries with it an element of mystery and romance. It became very touristic. To see for the site, the jet set atmosphere, the Grotta Azzurra, Villa Jovis.
Lovers of magnificent palaces will enjoy to visit the Reggia di Caserta area of â€‹â€‹5 hectares, 1200 rooms, 34 staircases, 240 windows on front and 1742 Total !!! What rival Versailles! Also visit the beautiful garden. Caserta is served by train from Naples.
